Description of Work/Assignment:
Create two bullet point lists about how the world stayed constant during 1200-1750 and one list of the ways the world changed during that time period. Which 21st Century Skill do you feel this assignment addresses, and why? Out of all the 21st Century skills, communication skills fit this assignment the best. Originally I was going to do this assignment alone. However, one classmate needed some assistance. So instead of giving them my answers, we did the assignment and brainstormed together. We even communicated outside of class afterward. What are you most proud of from this assignment, and why? There is nothing I am proud of for this assignment because other than communication skills, I didn’t really use any other skills. How did you develop and/or improve upon your 21st Century Skill with this assignment? I went out of my comfort zone to help my partner with this assignment. The person I helped isn’t really much of a person who would normally talk to me. But this assignment made us closer and the situation less awkward during another assignment we did in a group. What was most difficult about completing this task? Being able to understand. I understood what the teacher was asking for in a certain format. But I wasn’t really sure what she meant by how the world stayed constant. Sadly my partner could not figure it out as well. So we were stuck doing an assignment we had no idea how to complete. How could you improve this work? If you could start over, what would you do different? I would ask what the teacher meant by the assignment and actually do the assignment properly. How does this relate to what you have learned in the past? In my 8th grade year I learned about this time period however I don’t remember what I learned, so reading the article was like learning fresh new information. How can you apply this to future learning? I don’t really think this assignment is worth using in the future. |
